Location desicions - Harrison and Claire.

A large proportion of the shooting will be done at Claire's house in Lindfield, as the location fits perfectly with our film idea.

Things we considered when choosing this location -

- The house is not out of the way for either of the group members.

- The puppy being filmed will be used to the location as he lives there.

-  It is a small, homely, terrace house with a living room space that can be decorated appropriately for Christmas.

-  The dining room is small but perfect for the scene when the dog owner is wrapping presents up.

-  There is also a small gate which will be used for when the dog owner and Finlay walk to the Jewelry shop.

(Pictures will be up.)

Our initial idea for our opening scene was to have some long shots of the countryside surrounding my house, with Finlay narrating over top. The shot would then pan round to the front of the house where Finlay would be sitting at the window, still narrating. As our idea developed however, our story went from being 'A Day in the Life of Finlay' to 'The Dog that ruined Christmas', so we decided that a voice over was no longer needed for our new idea. It was also a longer story which meant we couldn't fit these opening shots within the 5 minute time allowance.

  1. You need to upload the images straight away. This is already very late in terms of the deadline. Images need more discussion too - explain in more depth the appeal of each and suitability, and also include images of locations genuinely rejected.

  2. These images are still missing! This is very late and I am now getting very concerned about your blog. Currently the blog is level 1/2 and needs very significant improvement. Harrison, there is virtually nothing from you here since the research, and in terms of planning, you have not reached a pass standard on the blog. This MUST be addressed over xmas if you are to pass overall.

  3. Since it is very difficult to read the side bar, it's difficult to find anything here. To me though, it appears that your animatic (2 versions as required) is still missing??
